A Special Day

Saturday, May 18 was a glorious day. Several sisters were able to attend the temple with Espy. It was wonderful to be there as she received her own endowments in the temple. After the session we had the privilege of seeing her being sealed to her parents.

On May 9th we gathered for a wonderful evening together. It started off with a great dinner and then we had a lesson on Self-Esteem. A wonderful time was had by all.
The beautiful tables decorated by Debbie Alford.
The wonderful food.  Ham, scalloped potatoes, and green beans.  Yummy!
The table decorations in the Relief Society Room for our lesson on Self Esteem.  They say "You are a gift to this world. (Shine) and Be yourself.  Everyone else is already taken."
Kathleen Kelly-Brooks, center, gave our wonderful lesson on Self-Esteem.  (sorry for the bad picture.)

Happy Birthday Relief Society

On March 14 we gathered to celebrate the birthday of Relief Society.  A great time was had by all.  We had a wonderful dinner of pasta and salad topped off with cupcakes for dessert.
Several sisters brought projects that they had made is Relief Society to display.  What talent we have!

Three sisters got up and talked about how Relief Society has helped them.  We heard from Carol Brondum, Shirley Neville, and Anne Connors.  They all said very nice things but there was a common theme.  They learned how to serve and how to be a good Visiting Teacher.

After A Long Absence, We Are Back

It has been a while since anything has been posted on here.  First of all the person that was doing this originally, moved.  Then I sort of took over.  Then Arva sent me some picture files to put up and only one or two of the file got sent.

Then sadly our beloved president, Arva, passed away from a stroke.  It sadden all of us.  She was a great person whom we miss dearly.

So now it has fallen on me, Karen, to try and do a good job of keeping up with the history of our ward Relief Society.  Hope I can do it justice.
